The hunt for the lead actress in Thugs Of Hindostan is still on. Reports suggests that several actresses have said no for the role previously and now, the young star Alia Bhatt has joined the league. Alia Bhatt reluctantly had to turn down the role in the film that starred Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

It is because the actress’s role is underdeveloped and is of no substance. Apparently, the film with a big banner like Yash Raj Films and with superstar actors, an assumption was made that actresses would love to be a part of it any way. But, the scenario is different. The leading ladies of today also expect a respectable role in a film.

Sources reveal that Aamir personally requested Alia to join the journey but, she had to say no. Alia would love to work with Aamir and but since the part was undernourished she had to turn it down!
