Alia Bhatt to be paired opposite Ranveer Singh in ‘Simmba’?

Though Alia and Ranveer never shared the big screen together, their jodi is being loved by the masses thanks to their Make My Trip commercials. The two actors have appeared in a handful of MMT commercials and became one of the most loved jodi’s instantly. Director Zoya Akhtar was the first to sign both of them in her film, ‘Gully Boy’, and now, to double the excitement, we hear that Alia again will be seen opposite Ranveer in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Simmba’. Clearing the speculations, trade analyst Ramesh Bala revealed the news on Twitter, where he mentioned, “@aliaa08 (Alia Bhatt) to pair up with @RanveerOfficial (Ranveer Singh) in #Simmba”

‘Simmba’ is an official remake of the 2015’s Telugu super-hit film, ‘Temper’. The film revolves around a notorious and corrupt police officer, who follows illegal paths to earn money and misuses his powers but at the end, the film shows a sanskari conclusion, where the corrupt turn honest and does his duty with sheer dignity. Well, when the term ‘Notorious’ falls, then who better than energetic Ranveer Singh to fill the spot.

Though no official confirmation has made by Alia or Shetty about the female lead, we as an audience are more than happy to see these two stars together.
