    Alia Bhatt , the daughter of the filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt , will be soon seen in ' Student Of The Year '. This film has been directed by Karan Johar and she plays the character of a rich brat Shanaya Singhania.

    She admits that her dad guides him whenever the need occurs but she wants to learn from her own mistakes. She does not want her dad to interfere in her work and career.

    Her film 'SOTY' ( Student Of The Year ) is going to be released on 19th October, 2012. This film also stars Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
