We love his action, we love to see his comedy and we love the his thriller movies. Actor turned producer Akshay Kumar now wants to explore a new genre of movies. He wants to play a gray shaded character in his next movies. In a recent interview, Akshay expressed his wish to play a negative role in his films. He said that he accepts the roles which he likes and he will continue doing that. But he would like to play a villain too in future. If such strong role with a good script is offered to him, he will surely accept it . The talented actor said that he admires villain roles. Akshay was speaking to the media ,celebrating the success of his recent film ' Special 26 '.

When he was asked that the negative role would affect his image ,he explained that he would not be playing the negative roles for the first time. He had played the villain earlier too. He has played the negative character in 3 films. One of which is ' Ajnabee ' where he got nominated for the Filmfare award for negative role.

The actor even wishes to do regional films. Akshay who is producing one Marathi and one Punjabi film said that if he comes across a good subject and unique kind of role, he would work in the regional film as well. Akshay is an owner of 2 production houses. One is his own Hari Om productions and second is Grazing Goat Production which he is in partnership with Ashvini Yardi .
