Rowdy action man Akshay Kumar along with ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to rock the screen again, this time as 'Gabbar'. After the blockbuster hit ' Rowdy Rathore ' , the duo has again teamed up to remake the Tamil Blockbuster 'Ramana'.

Bhansali who will release his upcoming directorial venture ' Ram Leela ' starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is making preparations to produce the remake of 'Ramana' , a 2002 Tamil blockbuster hit. Akshay will essay the role of Gabbar in this movie. The movie will highlight the subject of the fight against corruption which is very dear to everybody. With this movie ace south director Krish will make his debut in the Bollywood. Krish has earlier given some notable films like Vedam in 2010 and Gamyam in 2008.

Confirming this news, Bhansali said that they will be remaking the blockbuster 'Ramana'. The film is very beautiful and he believes that such a beautiful cinema should reach the Hindi audience as well. He also said that they are looking forward to the film and will try their best to do justice to the subject.

The remake was previously titled as 'Ramana'. But the creative man Bhansali who is very particular about his movie titles , suggested the title 'Gabbar' for the movie. Very few people know that it was Bhansali who had suggested the title 'Rowdy Rathore' for the movie. According to the source,the official making rights are acquired by filmmakers and the announcement for the leading lady will be made soon. The source shared that the pairing will be unusual and something interesting which audience will like to see.

'Gabbar' will commence shooting this year. The movie will be co-produced by Shabinaa Khan who is the co-producer of ' Rowdy Rathore ' as well.
