The action king Akshay Kumar earlier shined on the small screen in the reality shows like "Masterchef India" and "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi". And now, the actor is going to take forward his journey on the television.

As per the report, Akshay Kumar is geared up to turn judge for the television dance reality show "Dare To Dance". The contestants in this show will require to show their dancing skills as well as to perform some stunts in this show. Some of the participants in this dance show will include Rithwik Dhanjani, the winner of "Nach Baliye 6", "Dil Dosti Dance" lead of the series Kunwar Amar. Around 12-13 celebrities will be a part of this show. The shooting of "Dare To Dance" will take place in South Africa, reportedly.

Shahid Kapoor was asked to judge this show, but the actor is much busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ' Haider '. So, Akshay Kumar will now judge the show and he has started working on his six week shoot schedule, which will kick start on August 9. "Dare To Dance" will be aired on Life OK channel.
