    Akshay Kumar to team up with A.R. Murugadoss for ‘Million Dollar Baby’ remake!

    The actor-director duo will be teaming up for the second time after the success of their first film Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.

    After Brothers , superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to star in the Hindi remake of another Hollywood biggie. Yes, you heard that right! Khiladi Kumar has, reportedly, given his consent to headline the Hindi remake of blockbuster Hollywood film Million Dollar Baby, a Clint Eastwood starrer sports drama which hit theatres in 2004.

    The yet to be titled film will be helmed by renowned filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss who has previously directed Akshay Kumar on Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. The film was a blockbuster and hence expectations are really high from their second collaboration.

    Talking about the female lead of the film, TV actress Marina Kuwar has been roped in to essay the character which Hilary Swank played in the original. She will mark her Bollywood debut with the remake. “Working with a star like Akshay Kumar is like a dream come true. The journey from modelling to acting has been a major struggle, but I have never given up. I am confident I will soon be recognised,” she revealed to a daily.

    Other details related to the cast and crew are expected to come out soon.
