    Bollywood's cherished star Akshay Kumar discusses about doing films that are based on real life stories.

    Bollywood’s cherished star Akshay Kumar has been seen in a number of films that are based on real life incidents and stories like Special 26 (2013), and Airlift among others. The actor’s upcoming film Rustom is also in the similar lines and is based on the sensational Nanavati case of the 1950s. Several of these projects have a common link, film-maker Neeraj Pandey .

    Action maestro Akshay Kumar openly discussed about working with the talented film maker and doing films that are content oriented based on real stories.

    Akshay stated that, “When geniuses like Neeraj come to you with an idea, you learn to never look a gift horse in the mouth. To me it’s a blessing that someone of Neeraj’s calibre has confidence in me, and wants me to represent matters of our nation on the big screen. I can never hold back my passion to want to be part of a project that is based on a real life incident. It’s something that I get wrapped in. I never look back.”

    Rustom is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and Produced by Neeraj Pandey . It is set to release on August 12, 2016.
