After the news of PadMan ’s new release date, there were several speculations that PadMan is set to clash with Rajinikanth ’s massive film 2.0 that also stars Akshay Kumar . But, BollywooodMDB reported our readers that the two films would not clash at the box-office as the release date of 2.0 is variable to change. However, an official announcement by the makers was not out. Now, Akshay has come out to reveal that his films PadMan and 2.0 are not clashing at the box-office.

Akshay cleared the rumors and said that the release date of 2.0 is not fixed yet, there is a lot of post-production work left that needs to be completed. PadMan is his wife Twinkle Khanna’s first production starring him, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor while 2.0 is one of the most expensive films starring Rajinikanth , Akshay, Amy Jackson among others. Akshay stated that if 2.0 makers decide to release the film on its decided slot i.e. January 2018, then he would move PadMan to a later date.

For now, the release date of 2.0 is not confirmed while PadMan is scheduled to release on 26 January, 2018.
