    It is a known fact that Akshay Kumar and superstar Rajinikanth are coming together for a huge project, 2.0 . The upcoming film is a SCI-FI action flick that also stars Amy Jackson and the makers are catering a global release for the same. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a baddie and he has a scary crow monster look!

    On the occasion of megastar Rajinikanth ’s birthday, Akshay shared a beautiful message for him. He also said that there is a reason why people revere and worship Rajinikanth! On Twitter, Akshay wrote: “Have always been in awe of your onscreen persona but working with you made me a bigger fan of you offscreen. They don't call you Superstar just like that :) Keep shining the brightest @superstarrajini Sir #HappyBirthdaySuperStarRajinikanth.”

    Directed by S. Shankar, the film is jointly written by S. Shankar and B. Jeyamohan. The music is rendered by A.R. Rahman. 2.0 has been scheduled to release on 27 April 2018.
