Action man Akshay Kumar is planning to make a film based on the life of Marathi legend Dada Kondke. The film will be based on the biography of the great actor late Dada Kondke written by Anita Padhye. The well knows actor ruled the Marathi cinema in the 70s era.

The film will be jointly made by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi. Akshay and Ashwini have acquired the rights of the biography of the enormous persona written by Anita Padhye. The biography is named as 'Ekta Jeev'. In the late 70s and 80s era, Dada Kondke ruled over the Marathi film industry with his films. But his films were criticized by many for their double meaning dialogues and sexual insinuation.

The author Anita Padhye confirmed the news. She said that there is a development on her book and a film will be made by Akshay Kumar . The book was written in 1999 on the basis of her interaction with the late actor. She has total 80 audio cassettes which had 90 minutes long conversation with the actor. Dada Kondke was famous for his striped shorts and a unique style of dialogue delivery , one-liners and comic gestures. But in real life Dada wasn't a happy man.

The official announcement hasn't made by Akshay and Ashwini yet. But the author has confirmed the news.
