    Akshay Kumar lends helping hand to drought-affected farmers from Marathwada

    B-Town star Akshay Kumar donated Rs 90 lakh to the drought affected families of farmers, who have committed suicide.

    Our Bollywood stars don't lag behind when it comes to a noble cause. Going by the report, Akshay Kumar has lent a helping hand to drought-driven farmers from Marathwada. The superstar considered Marathwada region's worsening situation. Akshay has pledged to donate Rs 90 lakh to the families of the farmers who have committed suicide due to drought.

    Over a time span of six months, the amount will be disbursed. An amount of Rs 15 lakh was given on September 15 as a part of the initiative in Beed district. The entire event scheduled at Beed district police headquarters was coordinated by Aurangabad range Inspector General of Police, Vishwas Nangre Patil.
