Akshay Kumar endures truck accident

Monday was a really auspicious day for Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, the actor escaped astonishingly from a potential dangerous situation. He was busy shooting with the remake of \'Thuppakki\'. While performing an action sequence, a truck passed over the foot of Akshay. By the grace of God, Akshay Kumar didn\'t confront any complicated injuries.

A close source described the scenario saying Akshay somehow managed to get himself away from the truck\'s way. This happened so suddenly that, the foot of the actor unluckily got caught under the wheels of the truck. The source added that, this incident was quite painful to Akshay, apart from the fact that he is a very tough person. Akshay was instantly rushed to the hospital.

On knowing about the mishap, the doctors got tensed as they conducted the X-ray. They were anticipating that there must be a few broken bones. But, they received a happy shock after coming to know that the bones were in good state. Only some tissues were damaged.

A close source revealed that the fitness of Akshay has saved him from any major damage. His foot has been sprained second time in last few weeks. The actor is taking treatment, but he has returned to his home now, the source adds. Akshay Kumar won\'t be able to take rest for a long time, as his four movies are on the floor now and a huge amount of 500 crores is riding on him, as informed by the source.
