Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has chock-a-block shooting schedule as he has multiple projects to work on, that include Toilet - Ek Prem Katha, Gold and R. Balki's upcoming directorial that will be produced by Twinkle Khanna under her banner Mrs. Funnybones Films. This movie is said to revolve around a story 'The Sanitary Man from the Sacred Land' from Twinkle Khanna 's freshly released book 'The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad'.

This film is developed by the filmmaker Balki based on the concept of Twinkle. The venture will narrate the story of Arunachalam Muruganantha, who lives in a small town in South and and was unhappy with some unhygienic alternatives used by women in his village during periods. This man decided to experiment with new methods that can be provided to these women at cheaper rates. After some attempts, he becomes successful in this as he devises a low cost machine for making the product.

This flick also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead role.
