A famous participant from an ongoing reality show, Ajaz Khan will be soon seen on the silver screen. Ajaz Khan will feature in the upcoming film 'Ya Rab' directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala . Ajaz will be playing an honest police officer in this flick, reportedly.

The director said that "His portrayal will be totally different from what's seen on the show and that was a challenge," Ranvijay Singh will be the name of the character Ajaz will be essaying in this film, as per the reports. This character is greatly inspired by the encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar, who lost his life in the 26/11 terror attack. The director Husnain once met Salaskar at the latter's Byculla office. Husnain stated that "Salaskar's personality, the way he conducted himself and talked, impressed me thoroughly. I wrote the character of Ranvijay Singh with him in mind. Ajaz was made to go through a lot of references to prepare himself for the role."

The film 'Ya Rab' is slated to release on February 7, 2014.
