Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , who has not appeared on the big screen for the last one and a half years, has some exciting projects in 2018. Last seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, this year, the 44-years-old actress will be first seen in KriArj Entertainment’s Fanne Khan , and then she also has 2 more movies under the same production house. For the last few months, news had it that Aish has been approached to play the lead role in the remakes of classics, Raat Aur Din and Woh Kaun Thi , but now, she has cleared the air and confirmed the news.

Confirming the news, Aishwarya told a fashion magazine, "I've been approached for the remake of Raat Aur Din, which is a great opportunity and what's funny is while filming Shabd, Sanju Sir (Sanjay Dutt) said he'd have loved for me to play the part, and I was very touched. We're still working out the details. I've also been approached for a remake of Woh Kaun Thi ?"

Her first film, Fanne Khan , will be directed by Atul Manjrekar and also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao . It is scheduled to release on 13th July 2018.
