    Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visits Golden Temple for Omung Kumar's 'Sarbjit'

    Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visited Golden Temple in Amritsar for shooting of her upcoming film 'Sarbjit'.

    Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen essaying a key role in upcoming biopic on Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh. Omung Kumar 's ' Sarbjit ' will see Aishwarya portraying Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur. Sarabjit's sister struggled a lot for decades in order to get Sarabjit out of Pakistani prison. Randeep Hooda plays Sarabjit Singh.

    Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visited Golden Temple in Amritsar for shooting of the film. The actress was wearing a Punjabi suit and her head was covered with a dupatta. She paid obeisance in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. She also cooked food at the Langar of Golden Temple and cleaned the floor with devotion for seeking almighty's blessings. The shooting started in the afternoon and several scenes were shot till evening.

    ' Sarbjit ' will be filmed in Malerkotla, Amritsar and Patiala. The movie hits the screens on May 20.
