Kriarj Entertainment & T-Series forthcoming collaboration ‘ Fanney Khan ’ has become the talk of the town ever since the project was announced a couple of days back. Initially, some false rumours were doing the rounds that it’s Priyanka Chopra who was first approached for the big budget film before the role went to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after the former’s rejection. However, producer of the film Prernaa Arora has made it very clear that PC was never approached for the said role and Aish was always their first choice as she fits the bill perfectly. She reveals Aish will play a glamorous singer in the movie.

Talking about the part of Aishwarya making her singing debut, Prernaa Arora says, “For now she is not singing, but yes she is playing a singer in the film but in reality, we still have to wait for that big moment when she decides to sing.”

Interestingly, Faaney Khan ’s lead actor Anil Kapoor is known to be singing not one or two but multiple songs for the musical-drama. The team starts building the set in Mumbai next month and Anil will kick off shooting in the first week of August. Aishwarya joins him by the month-end and the film will wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule by October.

With a powerful star cast of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor , Fanney Khan is known to be the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar, and is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release, Everybody’s Famous! The film is musical-drama which showcases the lead actors in a very distinct avatar. The evergreen beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen as a glamorous singer who will surely win hearts with her positivity and freshness. The actress, who is currently on a family vacation in New York, is known to be starting with her preparation for the role as soon as she is back in the city.
