While we have seen many leading men of Bollywood in a double role, the number of actresses who donned two different looks in a single film is surprisingly very less. Besides Nargis , Sharmila Tagore , Hema Malini , Sridevi and Kajol , hardly any prominent name comes to our mind when we think of a Bollywood actress playing a double role in a film with panache. But if latest reports are to be believed, one popular name is going to be added to the list. Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will star in KriArj Entertainment ’s upcoming thriller, which is expected to roll in March-April. She will play a dual role in the movie. The actress is also in talks with KriArj Entertainment for the remake of Raat Aur Din .

Talking about the film with a double role, a source reveals, “The film is ready to go on the floors and is expected to be shot in Europe mid next year. Aishwarya has also shown interest in the Raat Aur Din adaptation, details of which are expected to be finalized soon.”

Producer Prernaa Arora confirmed the news, saying, “Working with Aishwarya on Fanne Khan has been a pleasure. Now, there are two more films we are collaborating on with her. Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film with me, which is an edgy thriller. This film will see Aishwarya in a double role and we will soon finalize the leading man opposite her.”

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently busy with her upcoming film Fanne Khan , set to release on Eid next year. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao .
