One of the finest filmmakers on Indian soil, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given us some of the most incredible films of Hindi cinema. Though he has worked with many top actors in the past, his association with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has been the most fruitful one. After marking a hattrick with them with his latest film Padmaavat , the filmmaker has, reportedly, signed his favourite onscreen couple for a three-film deal.

According to a source, “Bhansali has not just been bowled over by their performances but also enamoured by the dedication shown by these actors. Since Padmaavat’s shoot was stalled and the release was delayed, they had to contribute a lot more to the film. Deepika and Ranveer, however, understand that if they agree to a three-film deal, they are bound to him for six more years of filming. What will be interesting to see is if any corporate comes on board for a three-film deal with Bhansali, DP and Ranveer,”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has started work on his next film, Gully Boy . Deepika, on the other hand, is about to commence shoot for her next with Vishal Bhardwaj .
