After delivering a hit in the form of Kaabil , starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam , filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is now gearing up to begin his next venture as a director. Gupta is mostly known for making dark, hard-hitting gangster dramas and thrillers but, for his next, he is venturing into a totally different territory. Yes, the filmmaker will be trying his hand at a rib-tickling entertainer, a genre he has never attempted before. The director has joined hands with writer Rajat Arora who will write the script of his next film.

"India cannot live without masala films. Trends may come and go, but these outings make for our staple meal. Rajat and I are excited about working together for the first time. We have been wanting to do so for a while, but were unable to match our dates," says Gupta.

Sanjay knows the importance of teaming up with right people, and he is always ready to wait patiently for that. "I didn't want to associate with the wrong people or projects. I have all the patience in the world because I want to make the right movies."
