For the last few years, the Dabangg girl, Sonakshi Sinha was on the streak of unsuccessful films. After a long gap of 3 years, she appeared in Karan Johar ’s ‘ Ittefaq ’, which turned out to a game changer for her. The movie was directed by Abhay Chopra and jointly produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions and SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment. After ‘ Ittefaq ’, the actor-director duo is all set to collaborate again on Karan’s next project. Confirming the news, Karan told to a leading daily, "I am very happy that I worked with Sonakshi and it wasn't any kind of 'Ittefaq' (coincidence) and that film did well that also wasn't and 'Ittefaq'. So now, we are doing another film together and the name and details about the film will be announced within two weeks."

We know Karan’s films work as a ‘Midas Touch’ for the actors. In the last couple of years, we hardly remember any of his films failing at the box office. So it would be great for Sonakshi to work with Karan again.

On the work front, Sonakshi will be next seen in, ‘ Happy Bhaag Jayegi Returns ’ and tentatively titled, ‘Gadbad In New York’. On the other hand, Karan has a long list of movies lined up, with Ayan Mukherjee ’s ‘ Brahmastra ’ being the most expensive and most talked about.
