Ranveer Singh has seriously emerged as a fine actor. From a notorious lad to some serious acting skills, the new-day Alauddin Khilji has shown what a layered actor he is. The actor, who started with some mainstream chocolate boy roles, is one of the youngest superstars of the Hindi film industry today. Though he has proved his mettle by doing back to back variety of roles, he now wishes to do a film in the English language. So far, Ranveer has only done mainstream Hindi films but coming from a background where he has spent years in the West, he now wants to do something in his other language, which is English.

Speaking about this with a leading daily, Ranveer said, “I really want to do something in the English language, because I went to a school where the medium of instruction was English. It is one of my main languages. I studied in the United States and I really want to do something in my other language which is English. There have been some opportunities that for some reason didn’t happen. But, I think the right thing will happen at the right time. I want to explore that and I think I’ll do good.”

Talking about his on-going projects, Ranveer’s latest film, ‘ Padmaavat ’ is getting a great response from the audiences as well as critics and especially his role in the film is stealing all the limelight from all across. Apart from this, he’s busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar ’s ‘ Gully Boy ’ opposite Alia Bhatt , then he has Rohit Shetty ’s ‘ Simmba ’ and he has already signed Kabir Khan ’s ‘ 83 ’, which is a biographical film based on India’s Cricket World Cup victory of 1983.
