The dancing queen of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit recently announced the launch of her online dancing academy. The academy went on to become unique as it will be pursuing its curricular by conducting teaching lessons online!

Adding on to the out-of-the-box teaching element, Madhuri went far beyond expectations by roping in the renowned dancing maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj , a Kathak (dance form) expert as one of the professorial at her academy. Madhuri got struck by this idea when she met Birjuji on the sets of her upcoming ' Dedh Ishqiya ', sequel of the 2010 hit ' Ishqiya '. Panditji would be seen choreographing the "Dhak Dhak" girl to their moves in the sequel, as per the sources.

On confirming the above, Birju Maharaj stated that it's an excellent initiative taken by the actress to reach out to the masses urging to learn the art form. He further stated that the online initiative would help out a lot of learners seeking professional help.

As considered the teaching process, initially Panditji would indulge in teaching Thumri (a part of Kathak) nurturing foot-works and "Abhinayas" (expressions), as per the sources.
