Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s upcoming magnum opus Padmavati has been in news lately for all the right reasons. Fans have loved the latest song Ghoomar featuring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor . The trailer also received a huge response for its magnificent and beautiful depiction of sequences. BollywoodMDB earlier reported that Aditi Rao Hydari has been roped in to play Khilji’s favourite wife in the film. In a recent media interaction, Aditi opened up about her role in the movie.

Aditi said, “It’s not a major role. When I signed on for Padmavati, I knew very well it was going to be a small part. But, Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir presents all his women so well.”

“In Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram-Leela, Richa Chadha had a brief role, but she made an impact. I am sure I will leave some impact in Padmavati. No one who works with Sanjay sir comes away without benefiting from the association. I want to be happy in what I do. I don’t want to work with people who spread negative vibes,” the actress added.

Padmavati is one film to look out for this year and one should not miss it for sure! The film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. The film is set to release on December 1, 2017.
