Rai after she is done with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi !” which is period war-drama based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi!

But on the other side, when it was asked to the director and producer of Tanu Weds Manu franchise, Aanand L Rai , about the progress of the film, he replied, “Tanu Weds Manu 3 is definitely not happening. I do have something else in the pipeline with Dhanush and will start work on it only post filming my current movie.” The director is already busy working on an untitled project with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Though as per some trusted reports, the director did confirm that once he’ll be done with his untitled project, the team will start working on the script for the third part! Meanwhile, he also denied any tussle with Kangana, as it was touted to be the reason behind, Tanu Weds Manu 3 not happening.
