The film ' Margarita With A Straw ' is based on the life of a girl who is a patient of cerebral palsy and her relationship with another woman. As the story is based on a homosexual relationship, the actor is concerned about the censor board's decision.

During the media interaction Aamir stated that, India is a country where freedom of speech is important and he hope the censor board will be able to pass a judgement on the film without being biased. The lead role is played by Kalki Koechlin who is very positive about this film.
