Aamir Khan's Assam Birthday celebrations for wife

The iconic star Aamir Khan is in Assam these days. The reason is his beloved wife\'s Kiran\'s 40th birthday on November 7. \'Dhobi Ghaat \' was the film with which the talented Kiran Rao made her directorial debut.

Khan couple is accompanied by the ace personas like the director Ayan Mukherjee, the filmmaker Karan Johar and the music composer Salim Merchant in Assam. The star group is staying in Sonitpur district at a private resort located inside Nameri National Park. With this holiday, Aamir also got to spend some quality moments with his newborn son Azad in the garden of the resort.

The star arrived in Assam in his \'Dhoom 3\' attire, by flaunting his bowler cap and all. The Sonitpur district administration officials welcomed the Khan family in a traditional Assamese Gamosa style. The star was provided a tight security at the airport by the officials. A huge flock of Aamir fans were waiting to have a glimpse of their favorite star.

The grapevine said that Aamir Khan is in Assam for the shooting of some of the episodes of his television show \'Satyamev Jayate\' second season.
