Aamir Khan reveals the making of Zaira’s character Insia, says she can do anything!

As the release date of the film - Secret Superstar nears, the buzz and curiosity for the film increases! Aamir Khan and the team are promoting the movie wholeheartedly and the subject of the film is such that it does not need much of a push! It is a story of Insia, a teenager, played by Zaira Wasim. The film follows how Insia manages to fulfill her dreams despite strong resistance from family and the society. Aamir Khan plays her music mentor and a singer in the movie.

Aamir Khan recently shared a video on twitter which is a behind the scenes, making video where the team reveals what went behind creating Insia. The hard work and efforts by Zaira and the entire Secret Superstar team are evident. Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and the director Advait Chandan cannot stop praising Zaira for her dedication while Zaira pays gratitude to Aamir for helping her understand the character. Aamir took to Twitter and wrote: “This girl can do anything!” Also, the video is titled, Zaira Wasim: Wrestler to Singer.

Written & Directed by Advait Chandan, the film stars actors Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Tirth Sharma, Kabir Sheikh, Farrukh Jaffer and Aamir Khan. Secret Superstar hits the silver screens this Diwali i.e. on October 19, 2017.
