    Music maestro A. R. Rahman will be conferred with the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award.

    The eminent music composer A. R. Rahman is all set to be honoured with yet another prestigious award. Reportedly, A. R. Rahman will be conferred with the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award this year. He has been earlier awarded with esteemed Academy Award for the film ' Slumdog Millionaire '. Rahman also has four Filmfare awards on his name.

    A. R. Rahman will be presented the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award in Mumbai on October 26. This award is named after one of the most renowned musician and Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle 's younger brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar . The other eminent personas that have been honoured with this award include Lata Mangeshkar , Amitabh Bachchan and Sulochana Tai.
