A beautiful new journey begins with Kedarnath ft. SSR & Sara Ali Khan!

Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial Kedarnath is making news for all the right reasons. BollywoodMDB recently updated our readers about lead actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s script reading sessions and workshops. The young actors met at the director’s residence to prep up for their roles in the upcoming film. The new picture of Sushant and Sara busy in their reading sessions was shared by the director.

Now, the makers have dropped a brand new official motion poster of the film. Kedarnath is a young love story which is set at the back drop of a pilgrimage. The motion poster also states the words: “Love Is A Pilgrimage” The poster features mountainous landscape at the backdrop. The major attraction is Lord Shiva’s Trishul which is highlighted vividly. It does not reveal the release date as of yet but is scheduled for next year. The movie is in its early stages currently and, is expected to go on floors soon. Check out the motion poster here:

The upcoming venture is being jointly produced by KriArj Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures. In a media statement, Abhishek Kapoor spoke about the film details and said, “I don’t want to reveal too much at this point but our film is a passionate love story set on pilgrimage. I cast Sara in the film because she absolutely fits the part. Sushant, of course, I have worked with before, so I know that he is a sincere actor. I am also excited to work with Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment as they bring a unique balance of business acumen and creative insight to this project.”
