B-Town superstar Salman Khan was busy yesterday ringing in his 50th birthday with family and friends. His ardent fans from Surat made the headline by baking 400 feet long cake for their favourite actor's 50th birthday. This cake weighs over 4,000 kilos and will reportedly be distributed in 200 orphanages in the city to more than 4,000 children so that these kids too can have a treat on Salman's birthday.

This enormous cake has been baked by Breadliner, a local baker in Surat. Talking about this, Nitin Patel of Breadliner stated "We want to salute the star who doesn't believe in spoiling country's atmosphere and send a message to those who are making such attempts. Surat has a tradition of honouring those who think of the country first,"

One of the teams from the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of World Records will be coming in Surat for registering this new record.
