'2 States' to be shot at IIM Ahmedabad

Well known author Chetan Bhagat who is an alumnus of IIM- Ahmedabad, is very excited these days as the film \'2 States\' will be shot at his alma mater i.e IIM -Ahmedabad. Chetan Bhagat has written the screenplay for this movie. \'2 States\' is based on the novel 2 states - The story of my marriage, written by Chetan Bhagat in 2009. The film will commence its shoot from Monday. Chetan tweeted \'Real location, Real excitement\' on Sunday.

This is not for the first time that Bhagat\'s novel is turning to the film. Earlier, he has written the screenplay for \'Kai Po Che\' by Abhishek Kapoor. The film was based on Bhagat\'s novel, \'The Three Mistakes Of My Life\'. His bestseller One Night @ The Call Centre was made into the movie \' Hello\' in 2008 and his \'Five Point Someone\' has turned into the blockbuster \'3 Idiots\' in 2009.

\'2 States\' is a romantic story of Punjabi guy and a Tamil girl who fall in love with each other and the following cultural clash of them and the two families The film is directed by Abhishek Varman and co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. The movie features Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
