Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on a career high rendering back to back blockbuster films. The actor was recently in news for his upcoming film 2.0 featuring megastar Rajinikanth in the lead where Akshay essays the antagonist. The posters of the films are super interesting and Akshay’s crow man look is highly talked about. The latest update reveals that Akshay will be given equal leverage when it comes to marketing the film as the makers want to make it a hit even with the Hindi film audience.

A source revealed that, “The thing is that the producers of Robot 2.0 hope to sell the film to the Hindi belt on the basis of Akshay Kumar’s presence. For all his iconic status, Rajini’s films do not work in North India. Even Robot, in 2010, was not a big success in Hindi. With Akshay Kumar playing against Rajinikanth, the makers of Robot 2.0 hope to make a kill in both the Hindi and non-Hindi market. Hence, the film will be marketed as a Rajinikanth–Akshay Kumar two-hero film all across the country.”
