Thousands of people who were/are fans and well wishers of Rajesh Khanna followed his truck which carried him to the Vile Parle crematorium for funeral.
His funeral took place a few hours back and his funeral pyre was lit by son-in-law Akshay Kumar, who was accompanied by son Aarav.
The ritual of Mukhagni () was performed by Aarav.
Many big personalities of film industry such Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sajid Khan etc. were present at the funeral site to pay homage to him.
