Storyline
This film highlights the relation of sports and politics. A businessman strongly desires to see his son playing football for XI. The businessman feels it insulting to see his son being a standby in the Indian squad, though his son is State team's captain. The father and son cannot handle this insult.

STAND BY is a Hindi feature film which released on 26th August, 2011 and it has been produced by Prakash Choube and directed by Sanjay Surkar.
Story : This is the story of football game and the dirty politics involved in it. Rahul Narvekar (Adinath Kothare) and Shekhar Verma (Siddharth Kher) are two friends who also play football from Maharashtra team. Rahul comes from middle class family but he is very talented whereas his friend Shekhar's father is a rich industrialist. Sachin Khedkar plays the role of Rahul's father whereas Dalip Tahil plays the role of the rich father of Shekhar.
