Shaakuntalam

Storyline

Shakuntala, the daughter of the sage Vishwamitra and the nymph Menaka, falls in love with King Dushyant (Dev Mohan). The rest of the story is about how fate reunites them after a sage's spell forces the king to forget about her. The film, which stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Shakuntala, is based on Kalidasa's well-known Sanskrit drama Abhijnana Shakuntalam.
