Paathshaala is a movie based on today's education system: its demerits and merits. It is produced by Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan under the banner of Eros entertainment and Paperdoll entertainment. Its major casts are Shahid Kapoor, Nana Pateker, Ayesha Takia, Swini Khara, Dwij Yadav, Master ali Haji, Avika Gor, Sanatan Modi, Anjan Srivastva, Vicky Ahuja, Preeti Kopikar etc. This film is directed by Milind Ukey.

As the name suggests Paathshala is set on the backdrop of a school in northern Mumbai suburbs known as Sarswati Vidya Mandir. Rahul (Shahid Kapoor) joins this school as a new teacher. He is very friendly with the students and others thus he builds good rapport with all, especially students. But very soon he feels that some wrong practices were prevalent in that school and the manager of the school Sharma (Saurabh Shukla) was responsible for that.

Rahul feels that students and their parents were exploited and wants to fight for them. He starts fighting alone but others too join him who think in a similar way such as Ayaesha Takia and others.

Few are against him.

Who wins and how is the rest of the film.

This film has good message and the government should think on this matter.
It is worth watching, though it may not do good business because very few people like watching such films.
