One Line Review : A simple family movie, but missed salt.

Story : Omi Khurana (Kunal Kapoor) had run away from his home (Punjab) to theUK. Many years passed and circumstances had occurred in such a way that he got in debt of 50 thousand pounds. The money he had borrowed were none other than a gangster. Now he has to pay their money back at any cost. He doesn't find any way to pay back their money. However, he convinces them that he had a famous family dhaba in Punjab, and if he would go there he would arrange their money. He is allowed to go to India. Thus he returns to his hometown (lalton, Punjab, India) after 10 years.

He lies to his people in Punjab that he was a renowned lawyer in theUK and his bungalow was just near Buckingham Palace.

Here he finds that his girlfriend Harman (Huma Qureshi) was engaged with his cousin. He also comes to know that his dhaba was closed as his grand papa is mentally disorder. Now he doesn't know how to arrange money.

After his grand papa passed way, the recipe 'Chicken Khurana' comes as his help. In fact, 'Chicken Khurana' is a dish and only his grand papa knew its secret. One dhabawala offers INR one Crore for the recipe of 'Chicken Khurana.'

How Omi find out the secret recipe? Is he able to pay off his debts? Is be back to the UK again? What's happened to his love?

All such queries are answered in the remaining part of the film.

Performances : Kunal Kapoor's acting is below average. Huma Qureshi is just average. However, the supporting actors are fantastic.

Script : Its screenplay is weak. The writer has tried to create comedy and humor, but you get irritated instead of laughing. Dialogues are not powerful. The writer doesn't give you any message.

Music : Amit Trivedi's background music is good.

Plus Points : Punjab Culture is Shown in Good Way; It Looks Natural

Minus Points : Screenplay is Very Weak; Many Scenes Unnecessary Dragged;

Direction : It is the debut film of Sameer Sharma as a director. However, his direction is okay. But he fails to entertain you.

Conclusion : The film tries to be funny, but it is not so. It is a low budget film and will recover its cost.

Verdict : Watch if you have nothing to do!
