    TE3N Plot

    John Biswas's (Amitabh Bachchan) granddaughter Angela gets kidnapped and is murdered 8 years ago. Angela's case investigation officer is Martin (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). Eight years later, a similar kidnapping case emerges and is handed over to the police. The case in-charge is Officer Sarita Sarkar (Vidya Balan). Meanwhile, in the present times, the old man John, does not lose hope and tries to dig old graves to get clues and evidences regarding the kidnapping case. Will officer Sarita and Martin be able to trace the culprit? The answer lies in the climax.
