Samrat & Co. Plot

Samrat Tilakdhari (Rajeev Khandelwal) is a well known Mumbai based detective with a gripping intellect and a gifted ability to catch details and make accurate conclusions. He is aided by a quirky side kick Chakradhar Pandey (Gopal Datt), who is also a television personality.

One fine day Dimpy Singh (Madalsa Sharma) arrives from Shimla and shares with Samrat the dilemma back home where plants in the law are dying despite the horticulturalist having reported no problem in the plants and the soil. However, no sooner Samrat arrives he discovers that the mystery runs even deeper than that.

His belief is confirmed when the family patriarch Mahendra Pratap Singh (Girish Karnad) is murdered in his room. Then begins a string of events and incidents that complicates the case further, though leaving a trail of evidence, which helps the sharp eyed detective to get closer to the truth.
