Mr Joe B. Carvalho Plot

An international terrorist Kopa Bhalerao Kabana who is almost a combo of an Indian and an African dictator, hires a dreaded hitman named Carlos (Javed Jaffrey) to teach a lesson to the girl who broke his heart. However, of his several partners, Delhi businessman and gangster Monty Karla (Vijay Raaz), doesn't like that a big hit has been delegated to Carlos. He then decides to kill Carlos so that he gets to complete the hit given by Kopa Kabana. Carlos is roped in by Monty Karla and his men and has been brought to a posh hotel in the city, only to be killed.

Now detective Joe B Carvalho (Arshad Warsi), who stays with his blind old mother in Bengaluru, is assigned a task by a rich businessman in the city named Khurana (Shakti Kapoor) to find his daughter who has eloped with Ramlal, his cook. He enters the same hotel where Carlos is staying, as he is told that Khurana's daughter is staying there with her lover. Inspector Shantipriya Phadnis (Soha Ali Khan), who received information about Carlos's location, raids the hotel. As a result, detective Joe is mistaken as Carlos by Monty Karla's henchmen and inspector Shantipriya, who also happens to be his ex-girlfriend. This results in a total chaos and trouble for all.
