Koyla Plot

A money-hungry villain (Naseerudin Shah) gets a labourer, working in a coal mine and his wife dilled for the lure of money. So that the only child (Shahrukh) of the victims should not identify the killers, the villain shoves burning coal down the poor child's throat and makes him mute. The villain brings up the mute child (who is unaware of the fact that he is responsible for him mute status). He is a bonded labourer and would lay his life for the villains life. The villain is fond of girl and decides to marry her,who is one-third his age. Shahrukh rescues Madhuri from the villain and they fall in love. Shahrukh gets his voice back and takes revenge from the villain.
