Khakee Plot

The tale of the police department and the fight within it, is what forms the basic story line. The police department sends a police force to bring back an accused from Chandangarh to Mumbai. But the honest officers in the course of the journey realise that they had arrested an innocent man, who far from being a culprit, was a patriot. But the twist in the story comes when certain corrupt officers within the police force (Ajay Devgan, Prakash Raj) all try their best to make sure the accused does not reach Mumbai. The story is thus the brave fight between the honest and the corrupt, and how DCP Anant Srivastav (Amitabh Bachchan), and his team of officers including Akshay Kumar and Tusshar Kapoor fight their own department and the government to let justice prevail over dishonesty.
