Kadvi Hawa Plot

Kadvi Hawa is an eye-opening attempt by Nila Madhab Panda to show what the climate change has done to the life of farmers of rural India. The film shows the basic plot of climate change and its devastating after-effects, not the entire theme of global warming. The movie revolves around a sightless farmer Hedu (Sanjay Mishra), and the loan recovery agent Gunu (Ranvir Shorey). Hedu is a father to an indebted son, who owes money to the lenders and fails to pay them back. Hedu is called by the villagers to help them tackle the loan recovery agent. With drought being the principal issue, the farmers fail to grow sufficient crop, which leads to the suicide of many. In the fear of losing his son, who goes in depression after failing to repay the loan, Hedu agrees to sign an unconventional condition with Gunu so that the debts of all the farmers would be waived-off.
