Ek Deewana Tha Plot

Sachin is a young man of twenty year who is a regular engineering graduate. He comes from a middle class family who lives in the metro city Mumbai. Apart from his engineering study, he is also very much in love with the world of films. He struggles for a good role in the film industry-but it is not any easy task. He has to wait for whole day and despite that he doesn't get any sign of positive result. He has to wait and wait everyday but he doesn't get any result. He is using the money of his father. He is very desperate who tries to make an entry into any of the main film camps-there is nothing which can make each day significant looking forward to.

And that is when Sachin happens to see a girl named Jessie. It is clearly visible that it is nothing but love at first sight for him. Jessie is a good looking girl; she is pleasing to the eye; she is smart and sexy. However, she is not that simple. She belongs to an orthodox Malayali Christian family where there is very strict limitations to watch movies, to go to party at night or to fall in love with somebody.

At the time when Sachin fights with the idea of loving someone like Jessie and her family living in twenty first century, modern Mumbai-he discovers himself more and more drawn to Jessie. She, for her part, tries to form a friendship between them because she believes that covering their emotions and feelings under the shadow of friendship will protect both of them from many troubles such as heartache, tears and a full blown family drama.

EK DEEWANA THA is the forceful, still feel good love romance film story of these two diverse characters because they understand the paroxysm and enjoyment of 1st love while fighting with the circumstances that life has placed them in making Sachin question all the time-Of all the persons on this planet and he thinks why did he ever fall in love with that girl?
