Dil Dhadakne Do Plot

Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor) is a self made businessman married to Neelam (Shifaali Shah). Kamal's company AYKA is on its verge to bankruptcy and his twenty-five year old son Kabir (Ranveer Singh) is not qualified enough and interested to carry the responsibility of the company on his shoulders as his true interest lies in flying air planes. Their daughter Ayesha (Priyanka Chopra), a self made entrepreneur married to Manav, a snobbish and dominating husband and is always underestimated for being a female child.

Kamal plans a cruise to celebrate his 30th Wedding Anniversary and invites all his affluent colleagues and friends. Kamal and Neelam try to set their son with Noorie who is the daughter of a rich businessman Lait Sood citing business involvements. But Kabir, on the other hand, falls in love with Farah Ali (Anushka Sharma) who is a free spirited dancer on the cruise. Meanwhile, Ayesha is disturbed with her unpleasant marriage that turns worse when her ex-lover, Sunny (Farhan Akhtar) joins the cruise. What this pandemonium will lead to and where their lives will lead to is a further watch in the film.
