Daawat-E-Ishq Plot

Hyderabad ki Tez Gulrez (Parineeti Chopra) belongs to a lower middle class family and works as a show sales girl. Being a convent student, she aspires to marry a bride who is intelligent, educated and fluent in English. Her are dreams crashing as her father Bhooji (Anupam Kher) can't afford the dowry demanded for marriage because of which many proposals have went back and also the love of her life shed away.

All these circumstances make her con a rich man and in turn make him only pay her alimony under the charge of Section 498A Dowry Act. As per the plan, with the fake identity of Sania Habibullah, Gulrez heads to the Nawab city with her father. Here she targets Lucknow ka Aashiq Tariq (Aditya Roy Kapur). He wins her heart with his charming personality and crispy kebabs.

Thus, Gulrez is left with a confused situation as now she has to choose between the money-making plan and a good-hearted Tariq.
