Bareilly Ki Barfi Plot

Bitti Sharma (Kriti Sanon) is rebellious, bold and an independent girl from Bareilly. She boozes often times and shares cigarettes with her father. Because of her nature, no boy from a respected family in Bareilly is ready to marry her. Her engagement has been called off two times in the past, which has become a great cause of concern for her parents. When Bitti realizes she cannot take this pressure anymore, she decides to elope. She boards the train, but a book called 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', which she had bought just before boarding the train, forces her to change her decision. Bitti reads that the protagonist of the book is just like her. Amazed by it, she has a mission now, to find out the writer of the book. Her search takes her to Chirag Dubey (Ayushman Khurana). He helps Bitti to meet Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao), who is supposedly the author of the book.
