Storyline

This political flick emphasizes the life story of the great politician Indira Gandhi. The film covers two parts; first part showcases the story from Indira Gandhi\'s birth to her journey till winning over war against Pakistan in 1971. The second part presents the rise of her son Sanjay Gandhi under Indira Gandhi till her assassination. In all, it is about motherhood, personal tragedy, love, marriage, revenge and martyrdom.
